It takes place in and around the San Juan Islands, and involves piloting small and large boats from harbor to harbor. The descriptions of wild and dangerous passages are fascinating and ring as true as a ship's bell.
Precious Cargo is one of those page turner great stories that is interesting, exciting and emminently satisfying.
