The Niihau Incident - Beekman (Not BC)

This is a small, self published book about a strange incident that happened on Dec. 7th 1941. A Japanese pilot strafed his Pearl Harbor target and since he didn't have enough gas to return to the carrier he crash landed on a small private island not far from Kauai. He was to be rescued by a Japanese submarine but it didn't show up as promised. This is the story of his brief stay on the island and how he frightened the residents there. I found this book to be at times boring and at other times interesting.
