The author passed away not long ago leaving a legacy of excellent police procedurals. I believe they all featured some element of Washington, D.C. and comments on real people that were prominent at the time of each story. Margaret wrote solid, well grounded mysteries that keep the reader turning page after page. Easily read and enjoyed. This title was one of her best.
