Wow. What a fascinating read. This new author has broken some kind of mold and should win a prize for his effort. The subject is odd, the story is amazingly touching, and the writing is spare and forceful.
This is easily one of the best books I've read in years and would make an excellent read for our OC Geezer Book Club.
Recommended for everyone. Highly recommended.
